5 Quick, Easy, and Fun Valentine’s Day Food Ideas can help you create a festive celebration in minutes! Choose one or all five. Enjoy!
1. Meatless Meatballs and Chunky Salsa
Two items I keep on hand which make a last minute or planned party special: Trader Joe’s Meatless Meatballs, and Trader Joe’s Chunky Salsa. Very quickly I have an easy and delicious dish. Fun plates, pretty napkins—does not get much simpler than this.
2. Heart Shaped Caprese
Three ingredients plus balsamic vinegar. Tomato (three different sizes in the three plates), basil, and mozzarella. I used three different sized heart shaped cookie cutters on the mozzarella to fit the three different sized tomatoes. My favorite is the tiny mozzarella hearts on the sweet tomatoes in the upper right.
3. Dogs, Ducks, and Hearts
Make your Valentine’s Day table fun and festive. My table is not all about food-even though I have delicious strawberry pudding in the little white cups. My table has some of my favorites: dogs, ducks, and hearts.
4. Two Hearts–Filled With Shrimp & Cocktail Sauce
A Heart shaped platter of shrimp, with a Heart shaped dish of a cocktail or seafood sauce. A little lemon & parsley complete this extremely easy & very festive presentation.
5. Five Ingredient Salad—Beautiful, Flavorful, & Simple
This salad is gorgeous and delicious on Valentine’s Day, or any day. Five ingredients (plus dressing): Baby Romaine, Fennel, Mushroom, Red Pepper, and Red Onion. So easy, and yet full of flavor. I dress my Five Ingredient Salad simply with olive oil and fresh lemon. Enjoy!
